Senior CAD Application Engineer

PTC, a global provider of CAD, PLM, IoT and AR solutions, is looking for a Senior CAD Application Engineer to join our Team in Haifa R&D center.

You will be part of a global team, build up from mechanical and electrical engineers, that is responsible for releasing PTC Product in highest possible quality.

As part of your job at PTC, you will:

Explore and develop practical engineering workflows in CAD system that are of value for the customers in various industries. The objective is to assess directions for improving capabilities and user experience of CAD product.
Test existing and coming capabilities of advanced CAD system to assure it fits customers expectation and needs
Test of issues reported by customers and validating fixes and enhancements would meet expectations
Provide Consults the customers and R&D on best practices and workflows

Bachelor’s Degree of Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical/ Mechatronics engineering or similar
Experience of at least 5-7 years in Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical engineering
Proven experience in complex projects and designs using one of leading CAD systems, either as mechanical designer or as CAD integrator.
Good communication skills
Fluent English (read / write / communicate)
Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies
Will be a plus

Experience /Familiarity with PTC products (Creo Parametric/Windchill)
Familiarity with leading general-purpose CAD products
Mechanical (electro – mechanical) Design and/or integration experience in one of the following industries :
Defense and aerospace
Medical devices
Heavy machinery
Hi – Tech and precision machinery
