Backend Team Lead

We are looking for a talented hands-on backend team leader to lead one of our Engineering teams.
Your primary responsibility will be to:
Design, build, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
Provide technical and personal guidance and mentorship to your team members.
Work closely with the VP engineering, other group managers, and team leads to achieve business goals.
Work alongside the PM prioritizing tasks features development management, and planning product releases.
Provide architecture oversight, encouraging the team to innovate and develop edge technologies.
Provide high code quality and demonstrate high development standards.

BSc in Computer Science with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Minimum 3 years experience of hands-on leading a team in Agile methodology
Minimum 5 years of experience in Backend development of complex systems
Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
Experience with Kafka, and Docker – a must
Experience with SQL- a must
DBs - Postgres, Mongo, or Cassandra - a must
Strong Leadership skills – Hands-on, ability to inspire, motivate, train, and manage the team to meet high goals
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
