Finance Coordinator, Israel Operations

Fundraising organization transforming the lives of the men and women of the IDF - Israel’s future leaders and society builders is seeking a Financial Coordinator to work in our Petah Tikvah office.

Responsibilities:
Provide general accounting for our Israel Office. Prepare journal entries for the
Blackbaud Financial Edge system in collaboration with the US Finance team.
Support vendor selections and manage relationships with vendors.
Assist the VP Israel Operations and CFO/Controller in managing accounts payable,
and processing disbursements.
Support banking, MASAV administration, and credit cards. Collaborate with Finance
to implement expense management tools.
Support the VP of Israel Operations in creating and monitoring the annual budget.
Ensure Finance policies and procedures are applicable to office operations and
communicate policies to employees alongside the VP of Israel Operations.
Support US Finance team with compliance procedures for our programs including
supporting program audits and performing program financial reviews.
Manage outsourced payroll provider.
Oversee timekeeping procedures ensuring timely and accurate data submission to
outsourced provider.
Provide general support for Human Resources administration including working with
external Israel counsel to localize our employee manual in compliance with Israeli
law and best practices.
Standardize employment agreements and oversee the on-boarding and off-boarding
processes for employees.

Requirements:
Accounting degree preferred.
2+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Blackbaud, and advanced Excel skills.
Fluency in English and Hebrew.
Full time (on site, but remote on Sunday) 11:00- 19:00
