Assistant Controller

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support our financial operations and reporting activities. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals, a proactive mindset, and a desire to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Controller and Finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports. Support the month-end and year-end close processes. Help monitor company performance and identify financial variances. Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit preparations. Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures. Assist with tax return preparations for both IL and US entities. Contribute to revenue recognition and consolidation processes. Support implementation of new accounting processes and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial data as needed. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Completion of an internship at one of the “Big 4” accounting firms – strong advantage. CPA certification – an advantage. 1–3 years of experience in accounting or audit. Familiarity with US GAAP – required. Experience in a tech or software company – advantage. Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (Priority preferred). Analytical mindset and high attention to detail. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English and Hebrew. Comfortable working in an office-based setting.
