Senior Vice President of R&D - Robotic Systems

An amazing AI ML Healthcare startup is looking for a CTO to lead a Text-based artificial intelligence product and to drive innovation in electronic health records (EHR) solutions for large hospitals in USA.
You will mentor a team of researchers, defining research methods and standards.
You will research and solve ML algorithms challenges, and statistical challenges, guide a team of AI researchers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers.
Additionally, you will partner with clinical teams to validate AI product models and measure their impact on patient outcomes.
You will work closely with the VP of R&D and CEO on real-time product innovation, features, and implementation.

PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning.
7+ years of experience with advanced ML algorithms, predictive modeling, and AI engines (DNN, Decision Trees, BBNs, LLMs)
Strong background in healthcare AI, including EHR systems and clinical workflows
Expertise in NLP and text-based AI applications is a plus.
Proven experience leading AI research teams and defining research methodologies
Deep understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices in healthcare
Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Solid grasp of healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and medical protocols
Track record of translating AI research into innovative product features
Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and clinical teams
