Manual Software Quality Assurance Lead specializing in mobile and Android. The role requires the QA Lead to design and implement testing strategies, manage a team of testers, and closely collaborate with the automation team and the developers to track and rectify defects.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Managing a team of testers
Designing and implementing testing strategies
Closely collaborating with developers to track and rectify defects
Maintaining testing documentation
Working closely with the automation test team

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills
3-5 years of managerial experience
While the role may focus on manual testing, familiarity with automation tools and frameworks is a strong advantage
Experience with a diverse range of Android devices, screen resolutions, and hardware configurations
Ability to test application performance on different devices, including assessing memory usage, CPU consumption, battery usage, and app responsiveness.

Basic Requirements
3-5 years of managerial experience
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in various testing methodologies (manual/automated)
Understanding software development life cycles, and familiarity with programming languages and testing tools.
Ability to manage and motivate a team, delegate tasks, provide direction, and foster a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in using Android-specific testing tools such as, UI Automator, Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and Espresso.
Familiarity with design and usability best practice
Full proficiency in English
Great communication skills
Ability to work in a global work environment
