We're seeking a passionate Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic consumer products team and focus on our AI-powered dash cam products, crafting them into indispensable companions that enhance every aspect of driving.

As a Senior UX Designer at Nexar, you will be integral in shaping user experiences in the realm of consumer technology and AI. Your role will involve a deep dive into user behaviors, translating insights into effective and engaging design solutions that resonate strongly with our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

User Insights Leader and Researcher: Lead user research and customer interviews to gain comprehensive insights into user needs and behaviours.

Data-driven Design Refinement: Use analytics to inform design decisions and continuously refine user experiences based on empirical data.

UX/UI Innovator: Deliver high-quality UX outcomes that align with project goals and the broader business objectives and stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI design trends, especially those in consumer technology, integrating these insights into innovative design solutions.

User Journey Architect: Develop detailed user journeys that consider all aspects of the user experience, from initial engagement to long-term interaction.

Collaborative Design: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to produce seamless, intuitive, and user-centric designs.

Scientific Problem-solving: Apply the scientific method for problem-solving to ensure data-driven decisions and to validate design hypotheses effectively.

Lean Product Development: Promote and implement lean product development practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in delivering user-centered solutions.
REQUIREMENTS

Technical skills & qualifications

Extensive experience in UX design, particularly in consumer technology or related fields.

A robust portfolio that showcases your skills in user research, customer interviews, and innovative UX solutions.

Holistic thinking about the user journey with a comprehensive perspective on user experiences.

Experience in using the scientific method in design processes and familiarity with lean product development methodologies.

Experience with GenAI-driven user experiences - an advantage.

People skills & traits

A deep understanding of customer behavior and a strong analytical approach to design.

A passion for keeping up with the latest developments in UX/UI design and applying this knowledge in the automotive industry.
