Senior Software Engineer

Job Description Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer at GE Healthcare Nuclear Medicine, you will play an integral role within our medical devices software development team. Your scope of work will span across software design, implementation, and testing throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). By collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will be instrumental in the development of innovative medical products.

Job Description

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a well-regarded institution.

• At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience using Java.

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design and Programming.

• Comprehensive knowledge of multi-threading concepts.

• Aptitude for creatively solving complex problems.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with team members.

• Self-driven, organized, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.

Desired Characteristics:

• Proficiency in C++ software development is highly desirable.

• Prior experience in the Medical Devices industry is a strong asset.

• Familiarity with Linux OS is advantageous.

• Experience in web application development using HTML5, JavaScript, AngularJS, and other relevant technologies is a plus.
