Role Description
A major defense-related technological project is seeking a Data Systems Development Engineer to join a team responsible for the development and maintenance of mission-critical core systems, operating at large data scales and real-time performance requirements.
The role includes responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of Data Governance, ETL, and Real-Time Data Streaming processes, within operational systems that demand high reliability, stability, and strict information security standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design, specification, and development of large-scale data systems
Development and maintenance of ETL and Data Governance processes
Implementation of Real-Time Data Streaming solutions
Backend server-side development using Java
Work with distributed system architectures and high-volume data platforms
Integration with core operational and enterprise systems
Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, in compliance with organizational standards, regulations, and security procedures
Participation in Agile / Scrum development processes

Mandatory Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Backend development using Java
Strong understanding of distributed system architectures
Experience working with large-scale data environments
High level of personal responsibility, independence, and accountability
System-level thinking, attention to detail, and long-term commitment
Strong teamwork skills and ability to meet objectives
