Teacher

We are looking for fun, motivated, and capable educators who have an understanding of child development, are passionate about the world around us and can create inquiry-driven adventures for our curious children.

*Responsibilities:*

● Organizes classroom space into functional areas that are recognized by children and designed

to foster independence, investigation, and creativity

● Provides a variety of creative opportunities, as well as activities that enrich the sense of a

classroom community with respect to diversity, families, and culture

● Displays documentation and artwork, literacy, STEM activities using varied methods

● Reflect on-going themes or emergent interests of the classroom in line with documentation

guidelines

● Makes observations and assesses children and uses information to inform planning for small

group, large group, and individualized activities

● Conducts parent-teacher conferences three times

*Qualifications:*

1. Bachelor’s Degree (completed or near completion) in Early Childhood Education,

General Education, Special Education, Art Education, Social Work, etc.

2. Experience with children in a classroom setting.

3. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on a teaching team, to execute

developmentally appropriate.

4. Curriculum that demonstrates creative and innovative thinking.

5. Demonstrated ability to interact, communicate, and build relationships with parents and

caregivers.
