Advanced Cyber Security Software Engineer

As a Advanced Cyber Security Software Engineer at Honeywell, you will be part of a team developing software solutions to monitor and detect cybersecurity attacks and incidents in real-time in the OT (Operational Technology) world.

Join us in this role and contribute to the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions that have a direct impact on the safety and security of industrial operations. Hybrid Work Module, 3 days from Office and 2 days from Home.
Conduct analysis of network data for cybersecurity research purposes.
Develop Python-based solutions and contribute to the product's development.
Develop Yara rules and network threat signatures (e.g. Suricata) based on analysis findings.
Stay updated on the latest threat actor techniques and cybersecurity trends.
Independently conduct research and investigations for Product Management.
Previous experience with high-level programming languages (Python, C++, Java, Node.js, etc.).
Proven expertise in Cyber Security.
2+ years of industry experience as a Python Software Developer.
Hands-on experience in analyzing network traffic using tools such as Wireshark.
Experience in network attack analysis, including network signature development (e.g., with Suricata).
Strong research and technical analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems.

Nice to have:

Previous experience in cybersecurity software companies or military/defense units
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) from a reputable Israeli university
