Head of Business Operations

We are a fast-growing technology company operating in a dynamic, high-velocity environment. We are looking for Head of Business Operations to take a central, cross-functional role in the organization- a hands-on operator and integrator who connects strategy, execution, and people.

This is a new role, with broad ownership and high impact, requiring the ability to build processes from scratch, align multiple stakeholders, and ensure the company runs smoothly end-to-end.

About the Role

The Business Operations Manager acts as the operational backbone of the company, owning execution across planning cycles and ensuring tight alignment between Sales, Product, R&D, Operations, Finance, and Legal.

This role combines strategic execution, commercial operations, and operational governance, with a strong focus on clarity, follow-through, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Company-wide Operations & Execution

Drive execution of company plans across annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly cycles
Track company and departmental objectives; lead monthly and quarterly follow-ups on plans and targets
Identify gaps, risks, timeline conflicts, and resource constraints, and proactively drive resolution
Serve as the horizontal integrator across teams, ensuring alignment and smooth end-to-end delivery

Sales & Commercial Operations

Support Sales in preparing, coordinating, and managing customer proposals and pricing
Centralize and manage quotations and commercial documentation
Review and align Purchase Orders (POs) against approved quotes; ensure all departments are aligned on scope, responsibilities, and timelines
Translate commercial commitments into clear operational execution plans

Contracts, Legal & Financial Interfaces

Lead the setup and management of commercial contracts in collaboration with Legal
Manage commercial agreements, including NDAs, working closely with Legal and the CFO
Ensure contracts are executed, tracked, and operationalized properly
Partner with Finance on invoicing, billing, and collections in accordance with contractual milestones

Systems, Governance & Compliance

Own and maintain the CRM system, including dashboard updates and operational visibility
Track licenses, certifications, and expirations to ensure ongoing compliance
Establish tracking mechanisms, dashboards, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making

Cross-Functional Alignment

Work closely with Product and R&D to align roadmaps, delivery plans, and customer commitments
Ensure all teams are aware of their deliverables, timelines, and dependencies
Safeguard a seamless end-to-end customer experience, with no gaps between departments

Proven experience in a Business Operations / Operations Manager / Head of Operations or similar cross-functional role
At least one significant, end-to-end operational role with broad ownership
Experience working in a technology-driven company
Strong technical orientation and understanding of product, development, and project workflows
Solid understanding of commercial, contractual, and customer-facing operations
Experience working with contracts and commercial agreements- advantage
Experience working closely with Finance and Legal- advantage
Legal or commercial background- advantage
Background in aviation / aerospace / industrial environments- strong advantage
