Software Engineer III, Filestore

In most instances, this position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Software development experience in Java.
Knowledge of clustered/distributed and concurrent programming.
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and technologies, and knowledge of filesystems and storage.
Good understanding of distributed systems principles and concepts.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for developing many new customer facing features critical for meeting product business roadmap, as well as enhancing existing infrastructures for better reliability and new requirements.
Work with peers from other aspects of the product development lifecycle, including all filesystem engineering teams, program management, CP, DP, SRE, UX/UI.
Participate in the development of new features, infrastructure, and performance improvements in a complex distributed and performance sensitive system.
Help grow and mentor the team, be a part of a well-experienced group and impact the critical architecture and design decisions.
Work with product and customers, to best fit future requirements.
