QA Manager- IL

We are looking for a QA Manager who will join the growing Guild team at Global-e.

Responsibilities:

Guild Leadership:

Lead and mentor a cross-functional guild of QA professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture within the QA guild.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of QA practices.
Continuously assess and optimize testing methodologies to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to promote a quality mindset throughout the organization.

Training and Development:

Provide guidance and training to QA team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development.

Metrics and Reporting:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of QA processes.
Generate and present regular reports on QA metrics and progress to leadership.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Lead or Manager in a fast-paced software development environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Continuous learning mindset and a commitment to staying current with industry trends.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of agile and DevOps methodologies.
