What you'll do

Work as part of an Agile team that delivers a platform to collect and process continuous event stream
Collaborate closely with a strong team of developers and domain expert
Develop and enhance monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance
Improve and optimize test infrastructure to streamline development processe
Contribute to system stabilization effort
Be part of an international company, where English is the language of communication

What you bring

Student for B.Sc. or M.Sc in Computer Science or Information Systems, with 80+ average from a known institution. At least 1.5 years left for graduation or a Master’s degree student
Experience in Scala, Java, or any Object-Oriented language
Knowledge of container and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) - an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
Minimum 3 working days per week – a must
Team player that feels comfortable working in an international atmosphere
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Fluent English
Quick learner and self-managed

The Event Data Platform Team is focused on cloud-native and best-of-breed open-source tooling, deliver a scalable, robust, and data-intensive stream processing platform to process a different range of events and logs to generate metrics. Our platform caters to versatile SAP and partner products, empowering their development teams to deliver various solutions ranging from logs management to SLA metrics calculations. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
