Linux System Administrator

DESCRIPTION

abra professional services is seeking for an Linux System Administrator to join a classified defense-related project. The role includes the deployment, maintenance, and support of complex command and control computing systems in a dynamic and heterogeneous environment.

Responsibilities include:

Deployment and maintenance of computing solutions for complex command-and-control systems
Troubleshooting customer issues both on-site and in project laboratories (nationwide deployment)
Providing fast and dynamic solutions for users working in complex, multi-environment development systems
Writing system specifications, procedures, and technical documentation
Integration with interfacing systems
Working in a dynamic and heterogeneous environment
Full on-site position at the company’s offices in Holon (not a hybrid role)
REQUIREMENTS

must have:

At least 3 years of experience working with Linux-based operating systems
Experience managing a Microsoft Domain environment
Strong understanding of operating system processes
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
Experience setting up Domain Controllers (DC) and building/distributing GPOs for Windows domains
Experience installing and managing certificates (Microsoft CA)
Experience managing virtualized environments (VMs) – creation, network configuration, snapshots
Familiarity with NetApp storage systems – an advantage

Additional Requirements

Ability to integrate into an existing IT team with strong self-learning capabilities
Position requires security clearance (candidates without clearance may undergo the classification process)
Valid driver’s license (Class B / 02)
Willingness to work non-standard hours when required
Willingness to travel and work at various sites בארץ ובחו"ל (locally and abroad)
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
