Linux System Administrator

DESCRIPTIONabra professional services is seeking for an Linux System Administrator to join a classified defense-related project. The role includes the deployment, maintenance, and support of complex command and control computing systems in a dynamic and heterogeneous environment.Responsibilities include:Deployment and maintenance of computing solutions for complex command-and-control systemsTroubleshooting customer issues both on-site and in project laboratories (nationwide deployment)Providing fast and dynamic solutions for users working in complex, multi-environment development systemsWriting system specifications, procedures, and technical documentationIntegration with interfacing systemsWorking in a dynamic and heterogeneous environmentFull on-site position at the company’s offices in Holon (not a hybrid role)REQUIREMENTSmust have:At least 3 years of experience working with Linux-based operating systemsExperience managing a Microsoft Domain environmentStrong understanding of operating system processesBasic knowledge of TCP/IP networkingExperience setting up Domain Controllers (DC) and building/distributing GPOs for Windows domainsExperience installing and managing certificates (Microsoft CA)Experience managing virtualized environments (VMs) – creation, network configuration, snapshotsFamiliarity with NetApp storage systems – an advantageAdditional RequirementsAbility to integrate into an existing IT team with strong self-learning capabilitiesPosition requires security clearance (candidates without clearance may undergo the classification process)Valid driver’s license (Class B / 02)Willingness to work non-standard hours when requiredWillingness to travel and work at various sites בארץ ובחו"ל (locally and abroad)Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
