We're looking for a motivated Assistant Staff Manager to help build and lead our local field distribution team.
Key Responsibilities

Report to the storage warehouse at your assigned shift start time (e.g., 7:00 AM) to coordinate loading of the van with the day's stock of book boxes and trolleys.
Drive the van to each designated meeting point and dispatch books and trolleys to the team of 10-12 Brand Ambassadors.
Supervise a team of at least 10-12 Brand Ambassadors across three 2-hour shifts per day, ensuring distribution guidelines are followed at every stop.
Confirm each ambassador's availability and attendance the day before every shift, and coordinate replacements for any no-shows or cancellations.
Submit mission reports through our mobile platform, contributing photo documentation to support our largely AI-assisted reporting process.
Collect undistributed books from ambassadors at the close of each shift and issue a fresh, full box ahead of the next one.
Monitor ambassador wellbeing throughout the day (hydration, health, and general safety), and help sustain team morale.
Serve as the first point of contact for field issues, handling resident concerns with professionalism and composure, and representing the team in any interaction with local authorities.
Drive between locations throughout the day as operational needs require. Return the van, remaining stock, and trolleys to the storage warehouse at the end of the day, and complete all close-out procedures.

Schedule

8-10 hour days within a broad operating window of 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Mostly driving between locations, with some walking during supervision rounds

Pay

₪20,000 Gross Gross pay per month subject to standard statutory deductions (pension and benefits)

Requirements

Valid driver's license, with experience driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles and no offenses on record.
Comfortable driving a mid-size van (e.g., Toyota ProAce or similar, ~6.6 m³ cargo volume)
Prior leadership, supervisory, or team/operations coordination experience required
Excellent communication skills, with a calm and composed manner.
Able to resolve issues and communicate effectively with Brand Ambassadors, residents, and local authorities, including in situations where people may be upset
Comfortable using a smartphone app for reporting, photo documentation, and team coordination
Strong familiarity with the Tel Aviv area, ideally someone who has lived there for some time
Professional, punctual, reliable, and self-motivated
Good physical condition, able to walk and stand for periods during supervision rounds, drive, and help load/unload boxes and trolleys at the storage warehouse
