Software Engineering Internship (Raanana, Israel)

The Red Hat Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineering Interns to join our teams in Raanana, Israel.

As a Software Engineering intern, you will work closely with team members and other stakeholders on various specific initiatives, including architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance of ansible playbooks. You must be motivated, curious, and passionate about problem-solving, Linux technologies, and open source.

We are looking for interns for different teams, so not all job responsibilities are applicable to all roles.

Job Responsibilities:

Contribute to new collections and Ansible content development by coding, building, and testing.

Develop and integrate changes in multiple projects using open source methodologies to provide

end-to-end solutions

Troubleshoot, analyze bug root causes, and provide resolutions

Work with various engineering teams to ensure that our offerings are developed and tested
correctly

Contribute to automation (CI)

Interface with Red Hat partners to assist with hardware enablement for Red Hat OpenShift

Develop and implement best practices for AI/ML model lifecycle management, including
pre-processing, model training, serving, monitoring etc

Deploy AI/ML models on OpenShift AI (RHOAI), ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Work with upstream AI/ML communities to evaluate new AI/ML-related technologies from partners and create examples of integrations between their technology and RHOA

Required Skills:

University or college student in computer science or in software engineering, mathematics, or physics

Familiarity with one of the following Go, Python, Bash, Java or Ansible

Experience with Linux distributions, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is a plus

Motivated, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies

Provide examples of software development and use of git

Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Current student enrolled at a university in Israel with graduation in summer/autumn 2025
