Qualitest is growing and we are looking for our next QA Engineer to join our team in Haifa

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive backend test plans and test cases based on system requirements and documentation.
Utilize SQL as the primary tool for validating database-related applications, including data consistency, integrity, and performance testing.
Collaborate with the development team to identify system requirements and ensure that testing strategies align with these specifications.
Report, track, and manage defects in the defect tracking system, providing clear and concise steps to reproduce, along with the expected and actual results.
Participate in design and specification reviews to ensure a thorough understanding of project goals and requirements.
Continuously update and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Work closely with other team members to identify areas for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices in QA processes.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in backend testing - Must
Proficient in SQL, with actual experience in writing and executing complex SQL queries for testing purposes - Must
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Must
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes - Must
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
