Responsibilities

Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible.
CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) to ensure smooth, automated software delivery.
Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm, with hands-on experience in Docker.
Cloud & Security Management: Manage AWS cloud services while implementing AWS security best practices (e.g., IAM policies, VPC security, encryption) to protect our infrastructure.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Collaboration & Agile Practices: Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to optimize deployments and resolve issues. Embrace agile methodologies and a DevOps culture to foster continuous feedback and process improvement.
Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure processes to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

Requirements

2+ years as a DevOps Engineer.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
Solid understanding of Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python).
Familiarity with AWS security best practices.

Advantage:

Experienced with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
Provisioning, operating, and debugging of relational databases such as MySQL.
Experience with GitOps tools.

Soft skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex infrastructure and application issues.
Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
