Mechanical Engineering Designer
Airport City, Israel

Utron is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Designer.

In this role you will be a part of mechanical R&D team and will be involved in the R&D process of the Electro Mechanical designs of Utron products, support the integration and testing process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Designing system parts /subsystems (machining, sheet metal , plastic injection etc.)
Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting POC, POD and other project tasks; applying principles of mechanics, motion systems, hydraulics, and materials.
Performing theoretical calculations and stress analysis simulation for the design is mandatory
Conducting experiments methodically, Test planning and execution, analyzing data and interpreting results, integrating the designed systems
Jigs/tools/Fixtures design

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

B.Sc Degree in Mechanic Engineering
Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in design (machining, construction, sheet metal,)
Welding industry
Prior experience as Mechanical designer in multidisciplinary projects (EE, ME,SW)
Hands-on experience, systematic thinking, leadership.
High Level of verbal/written communication, time/resource, attention to detail, interpersonal and organization skills
Self-motivated, self-maintained and able to take the initiative to solve problems
A team player, committed, results oriented
Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
High skills in Hebrew and English, speaking and writing,

Others:

Experience in CAD software – SolidWorks and EPDM obligatory.
Experience in heavy duty industry – an advantage
