Senior Automation Engineer

Finonex is a trusted and established trading-platform company, delivering innovative and scalable technology for global markets.As part of our Automation team, you will play a key role in building and evolving a robust automation infrastructure that supports complex, scalable products.You will help shape automation architecture, tooling, and best practices, work closely with R&D teams in an Agile environment, and directly influence the quality, reliability, and scalability of our platform.This role combines hands-on automation development with system-level thinking. In this role you will:Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test infrastructureWrite and maintain high-quality automated tests (API, integration, and UI)Educate and collaborate with R&D teams on testing strategies, quality practices, and automation approachesShape automation architecture, design patterns, and development paradigmsWork closely with R&D teams daily in an Agile environmentContribute to scalability, reliability, and quality improvements across the platformTake ownership of automation solutions, from concept to production usage You have:5+ years of experience in test automationStrong Python experience (at least 3 years) and experience with TypeScript/PlaywrightExperience testing API-first / backend-heavy systemsAbility to design test infrastructure, not just write test casesStrong understanding of client–server architectures, microservices, and protocolsExperience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelinesStrong motivation to automate everythingBig advantagesHands-on experience with Kubernetes (k8s) environmentsExperience or strong interest in GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD-style thinking)Exposure to cloud-native automation in production-like systemsExperience with AWS cloud technologies or strong motivation to learnYou don’t need to be an expert in all the above — curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn are key.
