CloudOps Engineer - Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CloudOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in networking, virtualization, Linux systems, automation tools, and scripting. This role involves managing large-scale virtual environments, ensuring system reliability, and optimizing cloud infrastructure performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and manage network communications, including routing protocols (BGP, TCP) and packet analysis.
Deploy, manage, and maintain virtual environments using VMware or KVM in large-scale infrastructures.
Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Linux-based systems with hands-on experience (3+ years required).
Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline operations.
Manage and optimize Layer 7 (L7) components, including load balancers (Alteon, F5, A10) and reverse proxies (Nginx, HAProxy), with a strong understanding of HTTP/S and DNS protocols.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and implement infrastructure as code with Ansible and Terraform.

Requirements:

Proven experience in networking, including routing, BGP, TCP, and network troubleshooting.
Strong background in virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM) with deployment and maintenance experience.
Solid Linux administration skills with 3+ years of hands-on experience (mandatory).
Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Bash and Python.
Knowledge of L7 protocols and tools, including load balancers and reverse proxies.
Experience with automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
