We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer who thrives in a high-scale, fast-changing production environment and is passionate about building and solving infrastructure challenges with automations while working with cutting-edge technologies and bringing those to their limits on our mostly on-prem cloud like infrastructure.

What are some of the things you do on a day-to-day basis?

Be responsible for Taboola's production environment availability, performance and efficiency.
Develop scalable infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability for managing Taboola's multi-cloud services.
Design and maintain Taboola's web traffic distribution infrastructure with scales of Billions requests per sec and hundreds of Gigabytes of traffic.
Managing thousands of nodes Kubernetes clusters while constantly improving
containerization strategies and GPUs resources management.
Build and support a self-service toolset to empower developers and allow them integrate with our infrastructure.
Enhance observability, monitoring, and logging to proactively detect and resolve performance issues.
Participate in 24/7 on call rotation.

What are the skills a good Site Reliability Engineer in the Production IT Group needs to have?

5 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, System Administrator in a large, distributed environment with focus on Linux operating systems.
Experience with implementing and supporting internet-based applications/web servers.
Experience with Configuration Management Tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform).
Experience programming in at least one of the following languages (Python, Golang, Ruby, C++, Java).
Experience with monitoring and metrics collection systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Experience with cloud providers and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba).
Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Nomad, Docker).
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc)
