Erasmus+ and Agreements Coordinator
We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional coordinator to join our energetic international Office team and take responsibility for the coordination of the life cycle of the Erasmus+ programs, maintenance of the academic agreement portfolio and incoming exchange students and staff.
Our ideal candidate has experience in academic international relations, project management and ability to work across cultures.
Job Description
- Managing all aspects of the University’s Erasmus+ system, including handling Erasmus+ submissions to European partner institutions, signing Erasmus+ documents, and maintaining ongoing contact with project partners.
- Coordinating the University’s agreements system, to include coordinating the International Office’s weekly Agreements Committee, including preparing materials for weekly Committee meetings, handling various stages of negotiations, monitoring implementation of the Committee’s decisions, filing, and documentation.
- Taking care of incoming exchange students, including preparing and making available appropriate information for relevant bodies, dealing with scholarship grants, maintaining ongoing contact with university units regarding intake and treatment of students, and general tracking of students throughout this process.
- Dealing with faculty mobility, including preparing calls for applications for outgoing academic and administrative faculty, handling and assessing requests, and assisting with arrival and departure arrangements for incoming and outgoing Erasmus+ faculty.
- Managing the Mobility Online system for handling agreements and student and faculty exchanges and coordinating data on mobility.
- Coordinating and providing support for international cooperation projects, including ongoing communication with international partners and various units and offices within the University.
- Additional tasks in accordance with instructions from supervisors.
Requirements
- Academic degree; master’s degree—advantage
- Experience in administrative work.
- Knowledge and/or experience in work with international organizations—advantage
- Hebrew and a very high standard of English (preferably Native English), including both excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and internet applications
- Initiative, high level of service orientation, excellent people skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and across cultures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Notes
- Employment is on a temporary basis, at the 38–40 level in the Union of Academics in Social Sciences and Humanities rankings.
- In accordance with the Certified Technical Engineers and Technicians Law (2012), employees with a technical engineering or technician diploma instead of an academic degree may also apply for this position.
- Applications may also be submitted by employees with no academic qualifications but who have eight years of professional experience at the Hebrew University and have gained suitable skills in the relevant field from their work at the University.
- Candidates will be required to take an English test at the level required for the job.
- Candidates holding academic degrees from foreign institutions should also submit authorization from the Ministry of Education recognizing their degree.
