Software Engineer

As a Backend Software Engineer on the Virtual Travel Agent team, you will play an important role in developing and maintaining our innovative virtual travel agent (Ava). This groundbreaking product leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) and proprietary technology to revolutionize how corporate travel & expense is managed. You will work collaboratively with a talented team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build scalable and efficient backend systems.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and/or Python
Integrate with LLMs and other AI technologies to enhance the virtual travel agent's capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high code quality
Optimize backend systems for scalability, performance, and reliability
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team practices
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in backend software development using Java and/or Python
Experience in building server-side APIs
Familiarity with AWS
Insatiable curiosity and drive to learn and grow
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work in a fast-paced environment
