Data Engineering & BI core Group Lead

We are  looking for a dynamic and experienced DE & BI Group Lead to join our growing team. As a Group Lead, you”ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality BI and Data Engineers solutions that drive business growth and innovation. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI/Data Engineers professionals - including Team Leads, BI Developers, Data Engineers and Tech Lead.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the BI team and Data Engineers team.
• Set clear objectives, provide regular performance feedback, and support career development for team members.
• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the group in alignment with Moon Active's business goals.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the BI group.
• Identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into Data solutions.
• Plan, Design and implement Data projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices in data governance, data quality, and usage.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a BI and Data Engineers role, with at least 4 years in a managerial position.
• 2 years experience in managing team Leads in a BI or Data Engineers role.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of Data Engineers tools, Python, DBT, deployment, git, clusters, connection, docker, airflow.
• Proven track record of successfully managing BI projects and delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
