The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing purchasing activities, ensuring the timely procurement of materials and components to support our production operations.
This role requires a tactical thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management in the defense industry.

- Source and procure materials, components, and equipment from approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost savings and achieve favorable terms and conditions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure reliability and consistency in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to identify procurement needs and address any issues or concerns.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, including ITAR and DFARS requirements.
