Director of Supply Chain

An experienced and strategic Director of Supply Chain to lead, optimize, and oversee our global supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain excellence for advanced mechanical systems, ensuring seamless integration between development, procurement, and production.
As a key leader in the organization, you will directly manage a team of 4 Department Managers, including the Head of Procurement and the Head of Planning (P&IC/Industrial Engineering), aligning global operations with the company’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the global supply chain strategy to support high-tech, complex mechanical manufacturing.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 department managers (Procurement, Planning/Production Control, Logistics, and Inventory).
• End-to-End Operations: Oversee global sourcing, procurement, production planning (SIOP/S&OP), inventory management, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery (OTD).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with R&D, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to support new product introduction (NPI) and scalable manufacturing.
• Efficiency & Cost Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma) to optimize inventory turns, reduce lead times, and mitigate global supply chain risks.

• Experience: 10+ years of proven leadership experience in Supply Chain Management and Planning (SIOP/S&OP) within a global industrial/manufacturing company (experience with advanced mechanical/multidisciplinary systems – a major advantage).
• Leadership: Strong track record of managing managers and leading large-scale global operations.
• Education:
o B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management (IE&M) – Required.
o MBA or M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering / Logistics / Supply Chain – A strong advantage.
• Global Orientation: Deep understanding of global vendor management, international logistics, and working across multiple time zones.
• Languages: Fluent English and Hebrew (written and spoken) – Must.
• Systems: Strong proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP/Oracle) and advanced planning tools.
