IT Manager/Director

verall responsibility for managing the organization’s information systems, IT infrastructure, communications, and cybersecurity within a defense industrial company, while ensuring system availability, business continuity, information security, and compliance with regulatory and defense standards. The role includes leading the organization’s IT strategy, managing teams and vendors, and supporting the company’s production, engineering, and business operations.

Information Systems & IT Management
• Develop and lead the company’s IT strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Overall responsibility for enterprise information systems, including ERP, PLM, MES, CRM, and BI systems.
• Manage IT projects, system implementations, and upgrades.
• Ensure availability, performance, and business continuity of all organizational systems.
• Manage the IT budget, procurement, licensing, and engagements with vendors and contractors.
• Develop procedures, policies, and work processes related to information systems and IT operations.

Infrastructure & Communications Management
• Full responsibility for: Nutanix Hypervisor environments, Physical and virtual servers, Active Directory, Microsoft environments, Storage and backup systems, LAN/WAN/WiFi communications infrastructure
• Manage hybrid cloud environments (Azure / AWS / Private Cloud).
• Manage end-user devices, computer equipment, and mobile devices.

Information Security & Cybersecurity
• Overall responsibility for organizational information security and cybersecurity.
• Implement information security policies in accordance with regulatory and defense requirements.
• Manage systems including Firewall, EDR/XDR, SIEM, NAC, and VPN.
• Handle cyber incidents, investigations, and post-incident analysis.
• Work with regulatory authorities, defense customers, and audit bodies.
• Lead employee awareness programs and information security training.

Management & Operations
• Manage Help Desk and System Administration teams.
• Manage vendors, integrators, and service providers.
• Define SLA targets and service metrics.
• Provide technological solutions and support to departments including Engineering, R&D, Quality, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Executive Management.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications – advantage: CCNA / CCNP, Microsoft Certifications, VMware, AWS / Azure

• At least 5–10 years of experience managing IT and infrastructure in a mid-sized to large organization.
• Significant experience in information security and cybersecurity.
• Experience in an industrial and/or defense company – a significant advantage.
• Proven experience managing teams and complex projects.
• Experience working with ERP systems and critical infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware/Nutanix, Azure/AWS, networking, and information security.
• Familiarity with information security standards and regulations such as SOX and defense-sector security requirements.
