Controller/Assistant Controlle

An experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Controller to join its finance team in a broad role as the right hand to the Head of Finance.
The position will support all finance, tax-related matters, reporting, and investment accounting functions within a dynamic and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Head of Finance’s central point of contact for tax issues within the organization, managing tax reporting, compliance, withholding tax obligations, and coordination with tax authorities and external advisors in Israel and abroad.
- Take ownership of asset management system reporting, including maintaining data integrity, reviewing and recording investment activity, performing reconciliations, generating reports, and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including investment accounting, account reconciliations, accruals, analytical reviews, and the preparation of financial, management, and investment reporting.
Prepare and maintain cash flow reports for the family office and related entities.
Maintain strong financial controls, ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting requirements, and support audit, tax, and regulatory processes in coordination with CPAs, auditors, and external service providers.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data from portfolio companies, including budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Lead the implementation of Priority ERP, ensuring a smooth transition and successful adoption across the finance function.

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics; Israeli CPA certification required. A minimum of 2–3 years of post-internship professional experience in tax, accounting, and financial roles, with demonstrated comfort across tax compliance, financial reporting, and accounting functions.
Tax Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge of tax reporting and compliance is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating tax matters and applying that knowledge practically across a broad finance role, with the interpersonal skills and professional poise to engage effectively with tax authorities and external advisors.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel and Priority ERP; experience with ERP implementations is an advantage. Proficiency in AI tools and the ability to leverage them in day-to-day financial workflows is required.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
Background: Prior experience in either an accounting firm, family office, or investment fund environment
