xEngineer Team Lead (Backend Oriented) for Viewer

As a Team Lead at Viewer, you'll lead the development of the infrastructure that renders 250+ million company sites with the highest SLA and speed worldwide. You'll oversee the creation of one of the busiest Scala and Node.js services at our company, handling over 1 million RPM. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our Server Side Rendering (SSR) processes are efficient and scalable.
In your day-to-day, you will:
Lead the team responsible for managing all of our companys public traffic (> 1 million RPM)
Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
Design, develop, and lead major features
Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits
Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain extraordinary features
Solve challenging problems in complex business flows with creative solutions.

Proven expertise in designing scalable, distributed, and efficient systems

Excellent communication skills to support thousands of engineers and foster collaboration
