Senior QA Automation Engineer

we are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer.
This is a unique opportunity to rebuild QA strategy from the ground up for our regulated products. You will own the entire testing lifecycle - from defining the strategy, designing the test architecture, and building the test environments, to writing automation and executing releases.
This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for someone who can rethink how we test, define a modern QA vision, and execute it hands-on. You will work closely with R&D teams, and the Regulatory & Compliance function to ensure our products meet both engineering excellence and medical device regulatory standards.

4+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer / SDET / Software Quality Engineer.
Experience building test automation frameworks, not just writing tests within existing ones.
Proven hands-on coding skills in Python.
Experience with pytest, Playwright, or equivalent modern testing frameworks.
Experience working with AWS and Kubernetes-based environments.
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Proven ability to define test strategy and methodology from scratch - not just execute existing plans.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in regulated environments - medical devices (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA QSR, MDSAP) or comparable regulated industries.
Familiarity with V&V processes, risk management, and release management in regulated contexts.
Experience with AI/ML-based products or medical imaging.
