We are looking for a driven, technically curious Staff Backend Developer to join a cutting-edge team focused on Agentless Scanning within Cortex Cloud, our company's next-generation cloud security platform. Based in our Tel Aviv (TLV) office, you will be at the forefront of cloud security innovation. Our team's mission is to help Cortex Cloud customers discover, understand, and fix security vulnerabilities in their workloads across all major cloud providers. Your Impact
Hands-on Backend Development: Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of features and core components within the Agentless domain.
Feature Ownership: Collaborate closely with s

Backend Engineering: 2+ years of professional experience contributing to production-grade backend services. You should be comfortable navigating existing codebases and delivering features independently.
Languages: Experience in at least one major backend language (Go, Java, Python, Rust, C#, or Node.js). While Go (Golang) is our primary stack, we value polyglot engineers who are excited to master Go and write idiomatic, clean code.
Engineering Fundamentals: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and the basics of RESTful API design. You should have an understanding of distributed systems design.
Quality Standards: A "test-first" mindset. Experience writing unit and integration tests and a commitment to participating in (and learning from) rigorous code reviews.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical/military experience.
