R&D Team Lead

As an R&D Team Leader, you will...
Lead a team of 4-6 developers, working on large-scale, complex, and cutting-edge systems
Manage the delivery of multiple, complex, simultaneous development projects from design to release
Ensure that risks and issues are identified and managed closely, while driving all stakeholders to delive

At least 3 years of experience as a leader and at least 8 years as an engineer
Experience in managing highly-skilled developers, and the ability to lead, coach, guide, and influence them
Proven experience in Python/Go/Java
Experience in developing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems
Experience in SaaS/Cloud/Microservices architecture
Strong track record of leading and managing the delivery of software development projects, meeting key milestones, and overcoming challenges
Previous experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design of high-scale distributed systems
Ability to manage, track, and identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges ahead of time, and oversee technical coordination to resolve them
Willingness to work with a driven team in a fast-paced, context-switching environment
Proven, hands-on AI engineering experience - required in one or more of the following:
Building full production features using AI-native coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
Adapting the SDLC to leverage MCPs and AI Skills to measurably improve team productivity
Integrating agentic AI capabilities int
