Senior Embedded Engineer

For a growing startup in the field of real-time vision intelligence systems, developing solutions deployed in critical environments where the technology directly impacts safety and helps protect lives.
The company is looking for a senior, hands-on software developer to help build and evolve its core platform. This role is ideal for someone with strong Python skills who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, shipping high-quality features, and improving system reliability and scalability.
Part of the role includes working close to the hardware on Linux-based embedded systems (including NVIDIA Jetson), making this a great fit for engineers who enjoy working across the stack and taking ownership in a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end features across a complex, real-time system
Build and maintain scalable, reliable software running in production environments
Work on Linux-based embedded systems, including performance optimization

5+ years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on coding skills
Strong proficiency in Python
Experience developing and deploying production-grade systems
Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
Experience working in Linux environments
Ability to work independently and navigate large, evolving codebases
Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic engineering mindset
Nice to Have / Bonus Skills:
Experience in computer vision (OpenCV, object detection, PyTorch, TensorRT)
GPU acceleration (CUDA, CuPy, ONNX Runtime)
Edge/embedded systems experience (NVIDIA Jetson, JetPack, ARM64)
Camera integration (industrial SDKs, ONVIF, RTSP)
3D geometry and calibration
