Medical Director

The Medical Director will provide strategic medical leadership across the clinical development lifecycle, driving the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical programs to support the company’s pipeline and regulatory objectives, while building and maintaining strong relationships with clinical investigators and key opinion leaders.
Responsibilities
•Serve as the lead medical expert and primary authority for assigned clinical programs, with overall responsibility for patient safety oversight and key medical decision-making
•Lead the review, analysis, and interpretation of clinical and safety data, translating findings into strategic insights to guide development decisions
•Drive the design of clinical trials, including authorship and review of key documents (protocols, IBs, CSRs, and regulatory submissions)
•Provide medical leadership across cross-functional teams (e.g. Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, Data Management etc.), ensuring alignment and scientific rigor

•MD (Medical Doctor)
•Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Medical Director or equivalent clinical development leadership role
•Proven experience in clinical trial design and execution
•Surgical experience — advantage
•Prior people management experience — advantage
•Strong understanding of global clinical development and regulatory processes (FDA, EMA, etc.)
•Demonstrated ability to interpret complex clinical data and drive strategic decisions
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
•Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•Demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness, with a proactive, hands-on approach and the agility to adapt to evolving priorities
•Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with advanced digital/AI tools
