Master Planner - APS Systems

The Master Planner is responsible for creating an executable operations plan by aligning customer demand with internal and supplier capacity.
MRP Management: Own long-term demand management in MRP, ensuring demand is tied to the approved operations plan.
Configuration & Changes: Maintain up-to-date configuration details and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
Risk Mitigation: Identify critical paths in materials or capacity and recommend mitigation strategies for associated risks.
Customer Requests: Assess the impact of customer "drop-ins" or cancellations and prepare UCT's response.
Collaboration: Reconcile impacts weekly with site planners and potentially lead daily production meetings with sales and manufacturing.

Knowledge & Skills

Extensive knowledge of Excel.
Extensive knowledge of MRP planning processes, with a preference for SAP or Oracle.
A proven track record of meeting customer commitments.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Certification: APICS/CPIM certification is viewed favorably but not required.
Work Experience: Over 7 years of experience in planning or project management.
