Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities:
Apply knowledge of AI and cybersecurity to research and implement novel techniques for threat detection, mitigation, and trust enhancement.
Drive the end-to-end research-to-prototype cycle: from ideation and literature review to proof-of-concept development and validation.
Investigate AI-driven threats (e.g., adversarial attacks, model evasion, data leakage) and implement practical defense strategies.
Support product-aligned teams by developing applied AI security solutions for devices, infrastructure, and services.
Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product leaders to integrate AI-powered security features into real-world systems.
Maintain awareness of the latest research and technologies in security, AI, and trust, and evaluate their relevance for our innovation pipeline.
Produce clear technical documentation and research reports for both internal and external audiences.

Minimum Requirements:
M.Sc. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and cybersecurity principles, with a passion for their intersection.
Demonstrated experience in implementing AI-driven security solutions or applying AI to address complex security challenges.
Proven ability to translate theoretical research into working prototypes and independently drive applied research projects.
Strong software engineering skills (Python preferred) and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Requirements:
Background in adversarial machine learning, privacy-preserving ML, or trustworthiness of AI systems .
Experience with embedded systems security, edge AI, or secure infrastructure .
Publications, patents, or public contributions demonstrating innovation at the AI-security interface .
Familiarity with modern deployment environments (e.g., cloud, containers, secure enclaves) .
