Mechanical Validation Team Manager

Our HW team in Israel is looking for a senior Mechanical validation manager to join the HW System qualification Group. The team leads the qualification of networking infrastructure for our company next-generation data centers focusing on accelerated performance while enabling optimized end to end GPU connectivity. our company's Networking division provides innovative InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions for various industries.
What you'll be doing:
Lead the Networking organization Mechanical validation activities.
Build custom Hardware Mechanical validation test plans for devices and component level qualifications.
Manage multiple Mechanical validation activities. Coach, develop, and mentor team managers. Conduct employee performance evaluations. Support other managerial tasks of team as needed.
Lead your team in applying Mechanical validation/test principles to build test plans and develop tools for validation.
Collaborate and integrate with all HW team: Board Design, Mechanics, Thermal

דרישות:

B.Sc. or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.
8+ overall years' experience in mechanical system engineering.
4+ years of demonstrated management experience with teams of 8+ engineers.
Ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
Ability to multitask many assignments and coordinate testing for numerous programs.
Define new processes to improve coverage and overall product quality.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently given minimal supervision/direction.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background with Mechanical validation and testing  .
Experience in Mechanical validation methods and use of advanced measuring equipment
