Networking Expert

As a network expert you will be responsible for the reliability and operation of the Jerusalem light rail networks, including
• Design, implement, and maintain networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices, ensuring high availability and performance for all company networks-
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, and perform upgrades-
Configure and optimize network hardware, network configurations while ensuring minimal network downtime-
Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure reliable network operation-
Document network design, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures for reference and compliance purposes-
Apply patches, updates, and configurations to network equipment on all platforms to ensure they are up-to-date and secured-

דרישות:

At least five years of proven experience in network engineering or administration
Strong understanding of network architectures, protocols, and standards.Proven experience with MPLS network configurations and VPN services deployment. (VPRN & VPLS)
Strong proficiency with Nokia & Alcatel CLI. Comprehensive knowledge of network protocols: RSVP, LDP, MG-BGP, EVPN, Multicast, OSPF, NTP, ERP,-and RADIUS
Understanding and practical experience with EVPN technology – Advantage
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues efficiently
Certified CCNP or equivalent-
NOKIA certification level "NRS II" or equivalent certification from Cisco "CCIE R&S" – Advantage-
