SolarEdge is looking for a Channel Manager in the UK, with a track record in solar. You will be responsible for developing and managing the indirect and indirect distribution channel, developing successful sales strategies, providing product training, introducing new products and managing day-to-day business. You will help drive SolarEdge revenue and market share.
What will you be doing?
- Identify, develop and manage relationships with direct and indirect solar distribution channel partners and strategic accounts
- Identify and close sales opportunities in the UK, in accordance with the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
- Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
- Negotiating and issuing annual contracts with distributors and tracking quarterly and annual actions and targets
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer records in the company CRM system
- Provide internal and external trainings to distributors and their customers
- Developing and implementing strategies with the channel partners to achieve sales goals, and manage quarterly action plans
- Attending meetings, tradeshows and conferences
- Liaise with the local and international teams to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in distribution/channel management
- Great negotiation skills
- Bachelors degree- BA or MBA
- Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and verifiable record of successfully growing market share
