Distinguished Engineer, Security Operations

In this role, you will partner with Product and Engineering for our company Security Operations to build and scale security data analytics solution. The platform handles exabytes of data from customers, integrating contextual telemetry from the enterprise to find and stop cyber attacks. You will be at the forefront of building a correlation/behavioral/enrichment engine, with the ultimate goal of preparing all of this data for AI.
You will be tasked with organizing/parsing voluminous data, building enrichment pipelines and capability that no other product can do at scale with extremely low latency.
A key complexity is the federation layer. As customers increasingly want to keep data within their own perimeter, you will lead development of a distributed analytics solution capable of federating queries across multiple data stores. This requires a solution that can run continuous queries to constantly look for patterns, not just respond to single prompts. Your work will also involve creat

Minimum qualifications:
15 years of experience building mission critical products
5 years of experience serving as a technical leader for a software product built by many teams
Leadership experience helping vet, hire, and retain a bench of TLs through collaboration with engineering leaders on the team
Preferred qualifications:
Domain experience with infrastructure security
Experience building enterprise products at scale and engaging with
enterprise customers
Experience inspiring and motivating geographically distributed teams to work together as a cohesive unit
