What will your workday look like?
The SEO & Organic Traffic Lead is responsible for optimizing our website's search engine performance and increasing organic traffic. This role involves strategic planning, executing SEO initiatives, and collaborating with various teams to enhance our online presence. The ideal candidate will manage an external agency and work closely with internal stakeholders to drive SEO improvements and achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy & Optimization:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research, on-page, and off-page optimization, and technical SEO audits.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Content & Collaboration:
- Work with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align SEO efforts with overall marketing strategies and product launches.
- Provide SEO guidelines and recommendations to improve website content and structure.
- Agency Management:
- Manage the relationship with an external SEO agency, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective execution of SEO initiatives.
- Oversee agency performance, set clear expectations, and provide regular feedback.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, share of voice, and conversion rates.
- Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on SEO progress and results.
- Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Implement strategies to optimize website performance and user experience.
- Continuously test and refine SEO tactics to achieve optimal results.
Requirements:
Requirements
· 2-3 years of experience managing SEO projects, and e-commerce- a must!
· Expertise in holistic SEO approaches, including on-page, off-page, and full-funnel
· Expertise in SEO content creation, managing the content creation process from brief to execution
· proficiency in GA4 & Google search console
· Experience in content optimization, SEO reporting and dashboards
· A self-starter & independent individual, someone who can take an idea from initiative to execution
· A great communicator and collaborator, that can work with multiple interfaces and harness others toward a common goal
· Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
