Want to change the way the world drinks? We’re on the lookout for a super-talented Head of Global IT to join our Global Leadership Team at SodaStream HQ in Kfar Saba. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, this role is equivalent to a CIO position in a global organization.

You’ll lead a global IT department of 70 employees, comprising both on-shore and off-shore teams.

Head of Global IT Leader – Role Summary

The Global IT Leader is pivotal in aligning IT strategy with business objectives to drive growth and innovation across SodaStream’s global operations and markets. This role oversees critical domains, including applications, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and digital transformation, ensuring seamless integration with PepsiCo’s global IT ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a passion for technology, a proven track record in IT excellence, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward operational efficiency and business success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

·      Develop and execute a global IT strategy aligned with SodaStream’s goals and PepsiCo’s digital infrastructure.

·      Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, identifying opportunities for technology to enhance business outcomes.

·      Drive innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-centric solutions through cutting-edge technology.

Applications and Systems Management

·      Oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, e-commerce platforms, and bespoke systems.

·      Manage application lifecycles to enhance productivity and meet evolving business needs.

·      Ensure alignment and integration of shared technologies with PepsiCo’s platforms.

Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Oversight

·      Lead global infrastructure initiatives, including network optimization, data center management, and cloud migration.

·      Maintain robust cybersecurity measures, compliance with data privacy standards, and disaster recovery readiness.

·      Ensure scalable and reliable IT infrastructure to support global operations.

Integration with PepsiCo

·      Drive IT integration projects, aligning policies, standards, and processes with PepsiCo while maintaining operational independence.

·      Facilitate seamless collaboration and data flow between organizations.

·      Act as the primary liaison for cross-organizational IT initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development

·      Build and lead a high-performing, diverse global IT team.

·      Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·      Mentor and develop IT professionals to meet technological and business demands.

Budget and Vendor Management

·      Develop and manage the global IT budget to ensure cost-effective resource allocation.

·      Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, partners, and service providers.

What Your Workday Will Look Like

• Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to address IT needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Lead global IT operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Oversee IT budgets, team performance, and vendor relationships.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

·      BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (MBA – Advantage).

·      At least 10 years of experience in IT management roles, including 5 years in a multinational company.

·      Strong technical knowledge in cloud computing, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, BI, and ERP systems.

·      Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading diverse teams across geographies.

·      Exceptional project management skills, including experience working with contractors and external vendors.

·      Full proficiency in English – MUST!

·       Extensive experience and expertise in application development, deployment methodologies, best practices, and the implementation of ERP, CRM, Big Data, MES, business processes, BI, BPM, integration platforms, and software development.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior.

·      Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude.
