NPI Mechanical Engineer

What we are looking for:

The Engineering Department at Nova is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join the Engineering- NPI HW Matrix Team.

Requirements:

Requirements:

BSc Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years' experience in Engineering and NPI processes
Minimum 3 years' experience in Mechanical design
Experience and Knowledge in CAD SW, Solid Edge, AGILE, PDM.
Product BOM build & maintenance by ECO’s via PLM (Agile) interface with SolidEdge/SolidWorks
Strong technical writing skills in English
Knowledge in manufacturing methods, materials, machining, coating, geometric tolerances
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment
Experience in multidisciplinary and/or semiconductor industry- advantage
Leading academic institution- advantage

Role Responsibilities:

What will you be doing:

Lead changes via Engineering Change Order (ECO), build and update Bill of material (BOM) definition, hierarchy and structure levels while operational aspects.
Lead NPI (New Product Introduction) activities, design for manufacturability, cycle time, reliability and focus on technology methods, industry familiar
Define and write technical Documentations such as assembly, routing instructions, calibration instructions, test plans etc.
Lead mechanical design and improvements via SolidEdge /SolidWorks, handle CAD model and drawing definition.
Drive mechanical design activities, for example: Opto-mechanics, Electro-mechanics, Chassis, Package design, Test device (Jigs) and fixtures
Working with Nova’s suppliers and subcontractors, acting as Technical focal and leading supplier’s New Product Introduction (NPI)
Play technical pivot role at Operation department and collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Production, Purchasing, Planning and Service
