high-power and high-frequency transistor devices. This role is essential for turning raw measurement data
into actionable insights for device design and process optimization.
Main Tasks:
• Execute and maintain a wide variety of electrical characterization measurements (DC, AC, pulsed, RF,
load-pull) on fabricated semiconductor devices.
• Design and build custom measurement setups and procedures as required for novel device
architectures and performance metrics.
• Process, analyze, and summarize large datasets from device measurements, identifying trends and
anomalies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on measurement outcomes and device performance for
the R&D team and management.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot sophisticated lab equipment, ensuring an efficient and reliable
measurement environment.
Key Qualifications:
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with electrical characterization of semiconductor devices (e.g.,
transistors, diodes, passive components).
• Proven proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced lab equipment (e.g., Source-Measure
Units, Network Analyzers, Power Supplies, Wafer Probers).
• Strong skills in data analysis and reporting using tools like MATLAB, Python, Excel, JMP or similar.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics and electrical measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with high-power or high-frequency measurement methods is a plus.
• Proven ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced R&D lab environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• An M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Engineering, or similar disciplines, with
relevant experience.
Useful Qualifications (Nice to Have):
• Experience with automated measurement scripting
• Experience in the characterization of wide band-gap materials (e.g., GaN, SiC, metal oxides).
• Experience with thermal or reliability testing of semiconductor devices.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and basi
