Senior DevOps Engineer - Sealights

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, test, deploy and support infrastructure solutions for our products. You will coach, mentor, and proactively support engineers as they develop and operate their product. You will deploy and configure comprehensive monitoring tools used for alerting of network, systems, or security issues and drive any issues to resolution alongside engineering. Your role is key in expanding our ability to rapidly prototype, iterate and deliver new solutions to our customers.

Our stack: AWS, Athena, RDS, MongoDB (Atlas), Redis, Python, NodeJS, Jenkins, GitHub, k8s(EKS), Data Dog, Terraform, Argo CD, Cloudflare

Responsibilities:

Design/implement infrastructure as code solutions
Constantly think about infrastructure improvements to support out growing scale needs
Respond to infrastructure or security incidents alongside engineering, manage incidents to resolution by following established processes.
Continually improve and automate manual tasks
Assist and mentor teams in developing scalable, performant applications
Provide continuous feedback to Product, Engineering and Cloud Operations team
Implement CI/CD solutions

Qualifications

3+ years in a Cloud Engineer/DevOps/SRE role
5+ years’ experience with one or more scripting languages, such as bash, or python
3+ years of full-time experience operating applications on AWS/GCP/Azure
Experience in operating Kubernetes applications in production
Experience with infrastructure as code (terraform)
Experience monitoring high scale production SaaS solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ideally both in Hebrew and English)
Detail and process oriented personality

The following will be considered as a plus:

Understanding of infrastructure security principles
Deep knowledge and experience with Kubernetes
Experience with multi geography, multi-tenant applications (preferably microservices architecture)
Experience designing and performing D/R
