Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a talented senior Backend Engineer to join our team to help design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of our emerging and growing client-side security product. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for creating micro-services that protect against client-side attacks, always evolve the system according to the latest security trends and compliance, and ensuring the system is highly scalable.

What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend services.

Develop solutions in a cloud-native, microservices-based environment using modern architecture and system design principles.

Implement and integrate data and messaging frameworks such as MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, and the ELK stack.

Build, operate, and improve cloud-based systems on GCP, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.

Own services end-to-end: deployment, monitoring, observability, and ongoing optimization.

Troubleshoot complex production issues, analyze system behavior, and improve reliability.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features in a fast-paced environment.

Who you are

BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development roles.

Deep understanding of cloud architecture and modern distributed system design.

Backend development experience in Go / Java / C# / Python, with practical experience in concurrency and multithreading (Go is a strong advantage). Experience with Node.js is a plus.

Experience with at least two of the following: MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, ELK stack.

Strong experience with Docker and designing scalable microservices architectures.

Background working with GCP or similar cloud platforms.

Solid understanding of networking, monitoring, and alerting frameworks/tools.

Experience maintaining production services, including troubleshooting and incident analysis.

Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong “can-do” attitude.
