About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and independent software engineers to join our R&D team. If you have the right skills, attitude and are fun to work with we invite you to join us. You will develop mainly in Python on a top-notch engineering team in our Tel Aviv headquarters (5 minutes from TLV Center train station).

Our Stack:

Python
AWS lambdas, Serverless Framework, and AWS managed services
Python Data analysis tooling (Pandas, Sklearn, Numpy, Scipy)
DynamoDB

Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems that power our applications and services
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the backend infrastructure through profiling, code optimization, and caching strategies
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in backend development, and evaluate their potential impact on our systems and processes
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Monitor system performance metrics, analyze trends, and proactively optimize backend infrastructure and codebase to meet performance targets and scalability requirements
Investigate and debug backend-related issues reported by QA testers or end users, and implement fixes in a timely manner
Deploy backend code changes to development, staging, and production environments using automated deployment pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices

Qualifications:

5+ years of Proven work with Python at a large scale. Either for data analysis, backend development, system development, or similar - advantage
Significant experience in working with AWS or other cloud provider services
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
